Cyclone3 XULadmin for Firefox3 released

Long expected, XULadmin, the administration tool for Firefox 3 has been released and it is available for download. It features a new SOAP API, spellchecking, article statistics, imports and exports. Further development will be continued exclusively in and for Firefox 3.

The major changes that had to be done to the previous version in order to work was to create our won SOAP API, rewrite context menu code, some minor changes to XML parser behaviour and HTML editor fixes.

New Features

Many new features are currently being worked on. For details on the upcoming changes see project roadmap.
  • SVG graphical article visit statistics
  • Docbook and OpenDocument import
  • spell checking
  • CSV and XML data exports (currently working on OpenDocument)
  • video and article rating previews

Cyclone3 XULadmin 3 is available for the download using HTTPS to meet Firefox3 security requirements:

We are also trying to achieve a stable Firefox addon status so XULadmin should be also widely available at the addons page. Currently it is available for registered users. Check C3XULadmin at firefox addons.
