Cyclone3 is an open-source community project. This means that the source code is not only available for download free of charge and use, but developers have access to the source code and may modify it.

Most users of Cyclone3 will not work with the framework. Usually bloggers, writers, reporters or other content producers, even some admins, will not deal with any kind of programming. Most user will use the GUI. The demo grants full access to play with and modify our sandbox - example.cyclone3.org.

All that needs to be done is to download the GUI - Cyclone3 XULAdmin.

To download Cyclone3 means to download the Framework and GUI front-end XULAdmin (a Firefox addon). Currently, there are 2 options:

Downloading the source codes from Sourceforge and other services or directly from the repository:

Download source code

Downloading a pre-configured virtual image, an Ubuntu server with everything pre-installed and ready to go.

Download a VMWare virtual machine image

Linux (or any *nix). Apache. Perl. MySQL. Ready to go.

Download and install Cyclone3 Framework to run domain services ( eg.: web pages ) and Cyclone3 XULadmin front-end into Firefox.
